This entry is about a no-brainer. As a kid in school, I hated homework. I always thought it was a waste of time. However, the way I see it now, having homework was a great thing. There’s a lesson simply having the homework, rather than the subject or assignment. It’s preparation for what life has waiting. Its not something easily explained, as it’s seen as another chore. As adults, we really spend a lot of time working. While kids see time away from school as leisure time, homework illustrates that leisure should never be constant. That’s why, I think, homework wasn’t every day. One learns to appreciate leisure when all the work has been done.
